  • Product Liability: Subject to multiple timing rules per ORS 30.905:
    • Must be filed before the earlier of:

      • The expiration of any statute of repose in the state where the product was manufactured.[1]
  • Wrongful Death:
    • Three years from the date of death for private entities.[1]
    • Two years for claims against public bodies.[1]
    • Special notice requirements apply:
      • Public bodies require notice within 180 days (up to one year for wrongful death).[1]
      • Dram shop cases require notice within one year of death.[1]
